Is it just me or is it really hard to just sit down and write?
Whether time is your issue, fear, or just the overwhelm of ALL THE THINGS that you need to do to write your book, many of us struggle to actually write your book.
You’ve probably heard the statistic that 81% of people in the world want to write a book.
This stat was published in a New York Times article from 2002 by Joseph Epstein based on a survey of Americans.
That’s 250,000,000 people in the USA alone who deeply want to write a book. And then there’s the REST of the world to consider!
Guess how many books are self-published each year? In 2015, Bowker estimates there were 625,327 books self-published in the United States.
And another guess for you – how many people does that mean ACTUALLY published? Yep, .2%. .2%!!!!!
